hoggin' the tree

As you can see from this photo series, Raja spreads out and takes more than her half out of the middle.
The fact that she's even letting me up here is quite amazing, but fitting in well with my master plan of tree-top domination.
She can stay as long as she wants, however. I will allow her to share her warmth with me.
Hey, where are you going? I'm still small and cold.Oh well, her residual warmth will last a few minutes.

new brown shoe

Dad was inspired to shoot me trying to get a wad of paper out of his slipper to the music of a not-so-popular Beatles tune. I'm quite good in it as usual, better than the Beatles.

new vids

Today we drove to West Linn so the mom lady could get her sewing fabric fix while the dad guy and I waited out in the car for what seemed like hours. Here's an exciting video of us waiting.

Then we went shopping for grocery items and went home to empty the bags for me to play in.

spindly

These are my spindly legs at work. The people also call them "chicken legs."I get quite cold down there. Mom lady should make me some pants. At the office the Dad man has his head buried in paperwork a lot of the time. Perfect for perching on his shoulder. He really should clean all the crap off his cork-boards sometime. And Willie continues to be fun. I had no choice in the matter with this shot.I apologized to Willie later on behalf of the people for putting him into an embarassing situation.

one month

It has been brought to my attention that my first month anniversary with the mom and dad people is today. Wow! Seems like forever since I got off that noisy plane and into their lives. I've met a lot of nice people and cats and I think things are going to work out. The dad has a problem with me walking across his face at 3 a.m. but other than that I'm getting everybody used to me.

body heat

These people are slowly beginning to understand that I like it warm all the time. My roots are in Burma (also known as Myanmar) where it doesn't get below 77 degrees all year. So it should be obvious that my ancestors didn't need a lot of fur. Well now I'm in a fine spot. This house is kept cold, barely 68 degrees when they're home and down to 64 (65 if I'm lucky) at night. The lady even cracks the window this time of year. I shiver and seek out warm places. This involves burrowing below the covers at night and curling up by their bellies. They put off a lot of heat, just like I like it.I caught and ate two moths the other day.
